BC220 Series

Rated noise across the BC220 series spans 68–75 dB(A) depending on model and size. Because noise follows speed, the easiest way to reduce sound levels is to choose a smaller model at a lower speed for the same airflow, or a speed-controlled EC/DC version where available — ideal for noise-sensitive environments such as offices, laboratories and residential ventilation.

Models in the BC220 series use NSK ball bearings, which supports continuous-duty operation in HVAC and industrial ventilation. Bearing life depends mainly on operating speed and temperature: keeping inlet air clean, avoiding vibration and running at moderate speeds maximise service life. Protection classes in the BC220 series include IP54. Models rated IP54 seal the motor against dust and splashing water for typical industrial environments; for outdoor or wash-down installations, choose the highest IP rating available in the series and avoid direct high-pressure water jets. The standard operating temperature range is -25 °C ~ +60 °C.

Start from the airflow you need — the BC220 series covers 920–1180 m³/h. In this series, AC models are the cost-effective choice for fixed-speed duty. DC models suit battery- and solar-powered systems. EC models offer stepless speed control and the best efficiency at partial load.
